Illuminet are hiring an IT Sales Director for an expanding sales team based in the Southeast of England for one the fastest growing MSP, Cloud and IT Security providers in the country. They have seen double digit growth and are looking to bring in a seasoned sales professional covering Telecoms, Mobile, Connectivity, IT solutions and Cyber security.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Work closely with the management team to review business procedures and best practice
- Identify strategic business opportunities with high-level key IT and business executives
- Maximise on-going business projects and effectively manage vendor relationships
- Attend and chair, external meetings with clients to qualify projects
- Build a good relationship with key personnel from the Cisco team
- Work closely with both the Technical Director to design bespoke solutions where needed, and the Marketing Director to help add value to engaging marketing campaigns
- Ensure the continual development of less experienced team members
- Strong experience in new business sales within IT
- Excellent management, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to produce high quality written documentation
- To be a natural problem-solver: to understand and anticipate and meet customers' needs
- Offer up insightful and innovative ideas to maximise business and profits
- Effective and engaging communication and presentation skills
- The ability to play an inspiring role as part of a successful, competitive sales team
- Use market research and statistics to help with the development of the business
Salary & Benefits
- In return, the successful candidate will receive £60-70k OTE £150k + benefits
