For our rapidly growing, multinational Product Lifecycle Management IT team, we are looking for an expert for the PDM / PLM software solutions OpenPDM and Siemens Teamcenter, who at the same time fulfills a technical management role as a workstream lead. In this position, you will also play an important role in our global PLM transformation program.

The position can be located in either Vilsbiburg or Munich (50 to 80% home office possible).

Your tasks

As part of our global PLM transformation program, you will lead a project to ensure the coexistence of two versions of Teamcenter and data migration to the new system
Specifically, you are responsible for gathering and discussing the migration requirements, creating the migration concept, providing and testing the migration tools, and planning and implementing the legacy data migration to the new Teamcenter environment
You will take part in solving quality issues in the data migration, which is particularly related to CAD data from CATIA and NX
You manage the implementation activities of an external provider for the coexistence tools and data migration paths
You support the planning and implementation of integration as well as user acceptance tests for the coexistence tools and migration paths
You are responsible for performing legacy data analysis to support architectural and management decisions
If necessary, you assist in solving data cleansing issues

Your profile

A technical college/university degree or comparable training with appropriate additional qualifications, ideally with a technical focus
Several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in Automotive or an industry with a similar degree of complexity in PLM
In-depth knowledge about the PLM synchronization & migration solutions (ideally OpenPDM), experience in the synchronization / migration of PLM data is a plus
In-depth knowledge about the Siemens Teamcenter PLM software solution is a strong advantage (e.g. site consolidation, CAD integration)
Ideally knowledge about the CAD systems CATIA from Dassault Systèmes and NX from Siemens
Hands-on mindset, coupled with project management experience
You are a "doer" and have the necessary mix of communication, persuasion, and assertiveness skills to push your project forward
Good team and communication skills as well as proactivity and solution orientation
Fluency in written and spoken English and at least good German language skills
